The Santa Barbara Kite Festival is a great event to attend it you love kite flying and a lot of fun even if you do not fly kites. The Festival takes place on the west campus of Santa Barbara City College every April. Parking is plentiful on campus and admission to the festival is free. The event is fun for adults as well as kids.
The Ventura County Greek Festival takes place in Camarillo every June. The event features live Greek music, folk dancing, food, vendors, petting zoo, and a kids' play area.
