Mulled Apple Cider
Great served hot at a party outside on a cool fall or winter evening.
I always serve this and mulled wine with the
potato pancakes at our outdoor
Chanukah menorah lighting party.
- 1 gallon apple cider
- 2 sticks of cinnamon
- 2 tsp whole allspice
- 2 tsp whole cloves
- 1 blade of mace
- 1 tsp orange peel
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- Put all ingredients into a large pot and heat until almost boiling.
- Reduce the heat and keep at this temperature for 30 minutes to extract the flavors from the spices.
- Serve hot.
