Great served hot at a party outside on a cool fall or winter evening.
I always serve this and mulled apple cider with the
potato pancakes at our outdoor
Chanukah menorah lighting party.
- 1 gal burgundy
- 2 tbsp hippocras powder
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp whole allspice
- 1 cup Splenda (or sugar)
- 1 cup brandy
- Put all ingredients except brandy into a large pan and mix.
- Cover and heat until almost boiling.
- Turn off heat, add brandy, and stir.
- Replace cover, wait 5 minutes for flavors to merge, and serve.
