Sesame Ginger Chicken Wings (Original)
I found this recipe when going through some notes I made about 25 years ago.
At the time I planned to publish the recipe in "Tyme Tracks" (my Household's
newsletter) but never got around to including it. I have also created
an updated version I think it is
even better than the original.
- ⅓ cup ginger powder
- ⅔ cup black (unhulled) sesame seeds
- 4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 to 3½ lb chicken wings
- Mix th dry (first four) ingredients together.
- Dip chicken wings in oil and then roll in the mix.
- Bake in a 400° oven intil done (about 45 to 50 minutes).
- Serve hot.
